About Marnie

My mission is to help people with self-defeating thoughts and habits that hold them back from completing projects and achieving their goals. Building on their strengths so they can achieve a greater sense of direction, intention and purpose.

My passion  is to encourage, equip and inspire people to live with direction, intention and purpose.

A number of years ago I was an overweight, stressed out woman. I am a go getter yet my get up and go got up and left. I was at a point in life where I lacked direction and motivation. I found myself at a crossroads. My health was holding me back from doing adventurous things. Not only that, I'd become an empty nester with my husband.

The steps I did to help me out of a slump was to hire a coach for my health and life coach for direction. Between the two, I found new passions in life.

Helping people has always been my heartbeat. Being a trained certified life coach allows me to help people in  deeper and more fruitful ways for them.

Once my health issues were taken care of, I found a love for running, hiking and backpacking. I'm a goal setter so I set out to do 52 hikes in 2019. In that goal a dream was fulfilled of hiking 65 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington state with a good friend.

When I'm not on the trail, you may find me in my gardens. It's another avid hobby I have. There are many analogies for life in the garden. One plant may seem good where it's planted at the time. However, after a couple years, it may outgrow the spot or fail to thrive. In life we  do things a certain way for a long time but perhaps there's a better or different path to take. I've learned this many times in my life's adventures.

My husband and I have been married since 1990 and have raised two beautiful young women. We love to camp as a family. Play board games and generally hang out.
